Said in relation to gossip and how positive things should be said to co-workers while negative things like complaints should be said directly to managers and leaders, rather than spreading rumors and stories about people to fellow employees.

 

yeah you're definitely not supposed to talk dirt on your superiors, to people below you, whether you're in the military or in the workforce. that's a big no no. Every single director I had has said nothing but sweetness about their bosses, no matter how much we bitched. Only thing that beats that, is going above someone in the chain of command, with a problem. That reaaaally pisses people off.
