Looks are important, but you need to take the whole person into account. When you do that, size may not really matter.

I don't get it either. An athletic man is far more likely to be able to defend or protect their woman than a man with no stamina or mobility, as is likely the case with bigger guys.

 

It's not about searching 'hot men', it's about searching 'fat men' or 'nerdy men' or some variety outside of chiseled and soapy.

Thing is will the guy who slept with woman with a large pussy be around to know whether she has had corrective surgery or would he run like Usain Bolt and never pick her calls? And please dont come up with the classic "maybe its not the woman's pussy it might be the man dick" line.

 

I hadn't really thought about this issue before, but could the lack of diversity of online pictures be a result of less demand or interest in large men? As has been suggested, many men will accept or even prefer women who're quite a bit over their ideal weight, 40 or 50 lbs. Can the same be said for women, that they find those kinds of men sexy and acceptable as dating material as well?

 

Co-sign. I completely agree, which is why I've dated some guys who were not exactly thin, but the weight worked for them.

 

For me, I guess a tall, stocky guy gives the illusion of protectiveness. He's big, so someone might think twice about messing with him. Lol! And, since I'm not a tiny size 2, I like the feeling that I can snuggle into a guys arms, and I don't think I would have that same feeling if he were only a couple inches taller than me and weighed less than I do.

What I meant with "hot women" vs "hot men" - is what you find when you do that search. You get all kinds of body types of women - you get very very little for "hot men" most of which is geared towards gay men. Ther is nothing to choose from picture.

can you then imagine how abysmally little you get if you would do other searches of men if you get very little when you do a "hot men" search. It almost becomes a parody.

Just go on line and do some searches for pictures of men and you see what I am talking about. There is a HUGE difference of the amount of pictures you can pull up of women vs men, period.

That's exactly my point my friend. It seems as though women seem to be less forgiving in the looks department than women are. Which is ironic since men are always painted as more shallow in our society.

I don't think it's about being less forgiving. It's this: women have curves, men do not.

If a woman has some extra weight, it usually means that the woman is just curvier which is sexier (to most men).

If a man is carrying around extra weight, it's almost always concentrated in his belly, which is not sexy in any way, at least to me.

There is a difference in how men and women carry their extra weight. Women, if lucky, have more curves with their extra weight. Men don't get that lucky.
