I'm loling at Al Sharpton. Dude and his hair styles.

I think every man should be able to sue for defamation if found to not have done the crime. It is the only way to stop this vicious crime.

Thank goodness for cell phones. Not only catching rapists, but freeing the innocently accused.

He spent 4 months behind bars...before being released Monday.

"Sexual assault charges against a Chicago Uber driver have been dropped after prosecutors heard a secret recording he made of his passenger the night of the alleged attack..."

Two reports of it..First has more of his lawyer quotes, second more details and photos. Both good.

She needs to be charged. She better not get away with this.

What's even more unfair is that not only do they plaster his name and mugshot all over the news, as well as the name of his lawyer and even his wife but the woman who accused him still gets to remain anonymous. His life was turned upside down and she basically gets to walk away with zero consequences.

I'm glad that he's free but the world really is a fucked-up place sometimes.

That occurred to me too....his face was everywhere... He can't get his anonymity back.

That is definitely an American thing though. I grew up with a judicial system that doesn't post names or photos of accused or defendants unless convicted..

As for her name and mug..give it time. He was just exonerated Monday night. Cops will nail her if they can. Only thing is, she can say " l was only acting nice after because l was scared and wanted to get home " so she may have "an out". We will see...
I think he should sue her.

In some places they not only publish your name and your picture, but your address as well. It was bad enough before the rise of the internet where all you have to worry about was the local newspaper and, if the crime was serious enough, a minute or two on the evening news. Now that we live in an age where everything lasts forever it's definitely a brave new world.

The sad part is that even if he does sue her he won't get a dime. Like most 22-year olds she probably doesn't have either a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.

    Soooo true, all of it.

Only possible redemption is utilizing Google's *Right to be Forgotten* option. He certainly deserves it.

That's why she needs to be blasted and held accountable. Rape is not a game nor is screwing with someone's freedom and reputation. So disgusted in her.

Yet another Black man is wrongfully accused of a crime....I swear the OJ case made this judicial system paranoid trying their hardest not to let any of us off the hook.

The judicial system has been fucked up way longer than the OJ case.

I'm surprised nobody else caught that...but then again.....not really.

The majority of men being exonerated are black

All those guys tortured by cops in Chicago? Black (if not all, then surely most)

Just imagine how much more crap hasn't been uncovered yet

    U wish

One of the reasons police used torture was to force confessions out of innocent people
