facebook fuckery

i realized tonite that even tho my fb is set to private in every way its plainly visible to the public.
I just checked it like 2 weeks ago and it wasn't like that..so I went in to change all the settings and the photo albums and IT WONT let me.
I only want my profile pic public. I used to be able to change the audience with a drop down menu which has not been replaced with a custom gear that I can't change, only pic by pic.

Like I said, it wasn't like that two weeks ago and I think It has something to do with installing iOS 6 on my devices.
My daughter signed into my account and said mine was completely different from hers.

I've googled on to make it private and nothing works because I no longer have a drop down menu that allows me to make the albums private.

HELP. My whole entire profile is visible and it doesn't matter how much I change my settings. It's still visible to the public.

 

I think they've done something over there for marketing purposes (gotta make that IPO worth all that money), because I saw some odd things happening allowing my Likes to be seen by every one of my friends. I've started deleting any pics I don't want everyone to have access to, or setting up the albums with a specific list of people who have access. I haven't had quite the problem you're having, but it is irritating.

 

I really like FB because it allows you to share things and keep in touch woth people in the world but yes, that privacy thing I don't like it much neither...

 

I able to change it but I had to do it pic by pic.
I really wish Facebook would pic an interface and stick with the stupid thing.
