Not to mention any children he has with a WW would be "only half black". I get so sick of the jacked up comments/insults and mentality of those deeming someone 'not black enough' based on skin tone or one of someone's parents or ancestors not being black (and for other stupid reasons as well). Hating on someone based on that crap is stupid. The whole light vs dark fixation is unhealthy IMO as well.

He'd be 1/5 native, 2/5 black, and 2/5 white, he's black to most because of america's strict color line. He could be whatever he wants in a place like brazil

I understand your point. After all if you were to post a black and white female celeb here, guys would throw a tantrum. But as a biracial person, I understand and fully accept that people will see me as black no matter what and I like it that way.

I can't speak for this guy, but I'm pretty sure his gf sees him as a black man.

You can claim that your"white" in brazil just by being light and black just by being "dark".

Why are all of you getting butthurt. I have no problem with biracial people. I'm just saying it's not really an interracial relationship since he's half white, that's all.

They do, but into an even great number of categories, not the binary white or black (for everyone not 100% white) that is common to the US

Racial "purity" or absolutes isn't something they require to define someone. A significant portion of people who live as 'white' down there would be black here and the they almost do the one-drop thing in reverse: if you part any other race, you can claim that just as quickly as claiming being black.

I'm 100% sure if you were to post something like Mariah and Nick in this sub-forum, you would immediately get comments saying "she's half black so it doesn't count". Try making a topic about Tia Mowery and her black husband and see how far that goes.

He has a point. More importantly how does the dude identify himself. We can call Tiger black all we want but that's not how he identifies himself

Definitely muddy waters especially if he identifies with being white

    This

The problem with dick riding mixed men is that some of them don't really identify with being black

Like tdk said just look at tiger as an example

But if ur born from two black parents u can't really deny being black and you damn sure can't say ur white when it's convenient

Exactly but I think its kind of lost, by no fault of their own, most white people because they are at the top of the racial hierarchy and don't have to be subjected to this bs. They can speculate on just about everything because its not their cross to bare. It's all very confusing shit like why is various forms of being "Latin American/Hispanic" a form of different ethnicity yet people who have the same exact coloring who are Italian or Turkish or even Greek are considered white period the end. Same with "Hispanics" who are of a darker hue never have to identify with being black if they don't have to. It's a meaningless ethnic marker.
