Some people just get off on arguing. Will knowingly take the shit side of any argument to keep the endless loop going. You see a lot of righties in forums begging people to debate them and "change my mind" when in fact their mind's made up. I've stopped getting into political debates for that reason and the fact that most are propagandized, anyway. This being an interracial forum there is that element in it as well. This is probably the closest Bliss gets to an intelligent black man like Loki interacting with her point for point and blow for blow. She probably ran everybody else off IRL

Well.... terrorism requires a political agenda. Simply letting off shots at a rap show because you're upset is not. It's a rap show. They have a history of gun violence. Chances are some dusty dude felt that disrespected and started shooting. Same with house parties. Multiple people get shot at house parties all the time, but I highly doubt any of them had a political agenda. It's loud, packed, alcohol fueled and dudes are campaigning for attention. People ain't shooting up rap shows for political purposes.

Also, regarding mass shootings, a mass shooting requires a least 4 victims and they happen all the time, way more than we think(we just dont hear about them). With that said, most of those mass shootings aren't politically motivated, like this one likely isnt.

Also, the politics dont require much dissection when you are on Twitter posting 15 racists, alt right tweets per day and threatening public figures. They split the thing open themselves and put themselves out there when they hit the post button. I highly doubt the dude that shot this club up is on Twitter posting talking about Trump every tweet or bitching about the approaching caravan.

What the media doesnt need to dissect is the stolen bottle of activator from back in the day, the gun charge from a few years ago or the sack of weed a brother had when he gets shot.

 

Also, terrorism isnt just the targeting of civilians or requiring muder. The mass intimidation/ instilling of fear in civilians, government property through any unlawful use of force. Targeting property also falls under terrorism

Watch the whole series on YouTube if you can survive through it. There is a word in German “fremdschämen” which means you feel embarrassed for someone else. That’s the best way to describe their interactions. Every day she produces some huge crisis and he just keeps on sucking up to her and she thinks it’s love. Her first (!) trip outside the US is to Lagos of all places. She says she loves this guy enough to marry him but finds it unbearable to wear an African dress and keeps on embarrassing the guy all over the place. Which she’s not aware of because she doesn’t have a clue about cultural differences. The whole relationship is just a train wreck.

Reminds me of a time I was in Lagos with my husband ( not married then) and we met a man who just had an American lady visiting him (similar to this story). He was all over her the whole time making a big fool of himself but it worked. He’s in the US now but they are divorced. Everyone was laughing about this guy behind his back cos he was overdoing it with the PDA and compliments and declaration of love in public. Everyone could see it except her it was sad really. He was doing what he thought white women expected, he probably learned it in the movies. She didn’t know that the level of PDA itself was fishy for an African man;-)
