Have been following this, because this is a bitter pill to swallow. He had EVERYTHING GOING FOR HIM! EVERYTHING!

An amazing football career, A SB ring, a cushy NFL job, stunning looks, money, fame.
This is inconceivable. Just sickening what he is accused of doing. A major malfunction in his personality! Feeling for his victims.

Officials believe they have a smoking gun in the Darren Sharper rape investigation ... a shot glass that tested positive for a drug used to knock people out ... this according to court documents.

The L.A. County D.A. filed documents in which the former New Orleans Saints star is accused of drugging 11 people in multiple states (CA, LA, AZ, NV) and raping 7 WOMEN.

But the hardest proof may come from AZ -- where Sharper is accused of going home with 3 women he met in a Scottsdale nightclub on Nov. 20.

According to the docs, Sharper went to their place and poured 2 of them shots. Sharper allegedly raped both of the women.

But ... the next day, the women went to the cops -- and one of the shot glasses Sharper allegedly used to drug his victims was collected from the apartment.

The glass was tested ... and cops say the results show it tested positive for Ambien -- the drug Sharper allegedly used to drug all of his victims.

Sharper was never arrested in AZ -- but he was charged with raping two women in L.A. and if convicted, faces more than 30 years behind bars.

Sharper was selected All-Pro six times and chosen for the Pro Bowl five times.
He played in two Super Bowls, one with the Packers as a rookie and a second with the Saints.

 

This is so unfortunate, and certainly a tough one to read about. I know at the end of the day we really don't know these players, but I think over the years most of us think we have a feeling for the character of some of them (watching/following their career from start to finish and everything in between). I couldn't have been more wrong about Darren Sharper. Honestly when I heard the reports a while back, I was hoping it was a false accusation
(we all know it happens). Unfortunately with the evidence mounting it seems that was wishful thinking.

 

Wow. Just...wow. What would even possess someone to do something like this? I need to see more evidence before I make any decision either way but if these allegations are even halfway true, this dude is a special kind of evil.

 

Makes you wonder WHY. Gotta have some screws loose.

I doubt dude was struggling with the ladies, guess some folks are just wired indeed to be that way and it is about having that power over others. Surpirsed at him and this situation, he always seemed like a put together dude.

Then yet again women swooned over Ted Bundy and his looks and he sliced their throats as a serial killer to get his fix. You never know what lurks in the minds of humans no matter how they may present themselves publicly, privately is often a different case.

As a man. I could never understand dudes like this. I like my woman to want and desire me with her, on her, in her, to respond to my touch, to invite me into her being, not to violate her against her desires. To drug a woman and assault her you have to be missing a switch that says this shit isn't right.

The best part of being with a woman is her interaction with you as a partner, which is why I couldn't be with a cold fish woman that just lays there and makes me do all the work. It would be like sleeping with a lesbian, nah, just not going to work.

He will now pay for that ego of power and total control he desired over these women.

You're probably not far off at all, lots of serial killers, rapists don't even get off on the sex, but the sheer violence around it. Many get more angry and violent if in attacking a woman their dick can't perform and resort to killing the victim out of frustration at the perceived emasculate scenario of not being able to get it up.

 

I wouldn't want any of you in my jury pool as none of you seem to register the term "accused."

Very Disturbing!

Sad and very disturbing to hear this news about Darren Sharper. I don't mean to say this but this type of behaviour doesn't shock me really.

High profile celebs, athletes, entertainers and industry people making millions of dollars have more opportunities to get away with tons of extra-curricular stupid stuff. A lot of them don't care who they hurt as long as long as they get the pleasure they want out of that person. The ignorance is that some believe their celebrity status allows them to do whatever they please without consequence.

 

Well gotdamn...Reggie Bush has been implicated drugging drinks, in the trial. :smt017
