what an amazing post chi, as always. wish i could rep you for it, but it appears that i need to spread the love again. i remember the first time i realised how special black men were...it was when i laid my eyes on theo huxtable. it was love at first sight and right there and then i knew how beautiful you all are and that i was missing out big time. i would of given anything to have been able to jump on a plane and fly to america. unfortunately i had to wait until i was in my early 20's before i was able to live out my dream...but lordy it was worth the wait...!!!
:heart:BM are physical attractive to me, because of their smooth skin, their beautiful bodies and their soft eyes. They attract me mentally, because they seem to look more for connection, they are interested in what I think and how I feel. They are caring, sensitive, polite, very self-confident and donĀ“t worry to be angry with me, if I sometimes flip around. They love and accept me, how I am, the biggest gift you can make a person. They try to move mountains and are very ambitious, they believe in me and respect me very much. They impress me with these attributes, it appears to me so unbelievable human, desirable and adorable. Sexually they are extremely tender, arousing and very close to nature. - My reasons, why I love BM -
I'm interested if anyone can help me pin point why white people in this country hate black people but specifically black men so much. In almost every other culture there's some type of historical reasoning like with Jews and Christians in the middle east but in this country in terms of black and white black people have exclusively been the victims yet we don't have the same deep rooted hatred that white people have for us. Even the face of terrorism has always been of a Middle Eastern image and they don't suffer the same kind of hatred. The Native Americans were subjicated and victimized but they aren't hated the way we are. There are more websites devoted to the hatred of African Americans than any other minority group so my question is what exactly did we do to warrant so much hatred.
It is, and was economic. Slavery in the US continued longer than in other countries, and some Americans started to catch conscience about it. To maintain the slavery trade, an entire racial mythology was concocted to justify the process. It included the suggestion that Black people were not human at all, and a vast amount of ridiculousness about the danger of Black Men. As history continued, that same mythology was embroidered upon to justify jim crow, and even more recent occurrences like police harassment and brutality. But we were on the topic of loving Black Men, so let's get back to that.
Nothing, there is no justification for hatred Andrae. It's fear and ignorance that drives that behavior, and racists just raise more racists to perpetuate the hatred. There will always be people who believe themselves to be better than other people, they are completely wrong, but ignorance prevents them from being able to recognize, acknowledge, and change their perception.
I'm curious to hear too. You always give a smart viewpoint on subjects. I guess that's why we all want to hear what you are saying. Ahhhh.......it's a shame you don't feel comfortable with posting it out but I understand if you aren't comfortable.
I can rationalize hatred because I do agree that it comes from a place of fear but I'm confused of where the hatred for bm above all other creatures come from. It's really weird and its not just white people. Latinos hate blacks, Asians hate blacks, Indians don't like blacks. It just seems that we're always considered the bottom of the barrel the ones to be hated and I'm so curious as to why. Is skin really that much of a deciding factor for people. It definitely makes me think.
I want to dedicate this post to blacgirl as she's only here to piss everybody off...
