a while back when i was in florida , this island guy i knew kept talking in my ear how he likes indian girls , that he is curious to date them. while he is presently with an island girl....i think they were from the virgin islands or something . i was like if you want to date indian girls , date em , what's the big deal....he gave me this look like ,man you don't understand.i felt sorry for him ....looked like he was stuck in some relationship he didn't want or felt obligated to be with the girl he is with.
but at the end of the day ,it's not my problem .

in quite a few Caribbean island nations (and Guyana) there is some tension, be it social or political, between the populations of African and Indian origin.

Yeah, I agree. I understand that some may pressure you, but I refuse to let others (usually narrow/closed minds) influence who I choose to date.

  5. Never felt guilty, but I have tried to understand my attraction to white women though. To be fair I find all races to be sexy but there's something about a hot, fit white woman that just hits differently for me. Being a black man in America there is a certain pressure not to deal with WW, but I'm over all that tbh.

I feel you on this 100%. It really is hard to explain but there's just something about that attraction, especially when it is mutual. It's a whole different kind of lust.

I’m old enough to remember when black men would be shamed and bullied for being in relationships with white women but it seems to have faded with the new generations especially millennials or gen Z. You will be hard pressed to find black couples in midsize or major metros west of the Mississippi especially when it comes to black men.

Brother, if she makes you happy you make her happy so who cares what color she is? Is he stereotypical kind of Quasi racist remarks that keep people away from one another I mean male female. It should make no difference whether she's white black blue green purple polka dot ......if you love that white green black with polka dots if she loves you it makes no difference.

to answer the question, hell no. Take happiness wherever you can find it.
