It's in poor taste, buy let's not act like it's a photograph. Turn the other cheek and pray for the sinner.
I don't see the utility of saying things just to anger people or for shock value, but I also try to keep my cool when people say things designed to anger me or inflame a situation. As for criticizing someone for their religion, while it may not be a smart move, I do distinguish between saying you disagree with a belief system and saying you disagree with someone's genetic condition. Just a question for the gay-averse: once they definitively identify the gene responsible for the orientation, will you still be opposed to the people for something beyond their control? Author Andrew Solomon (who is also gay) gives an interesting interview on parental acceptance of children who are different, including in their orientation and the issues raised by the acknowledgment of sexual orientation as something inherent in a child's genetic makeup HERE and HERE.
God doesn't fit in the empirical evidence scheme of things. That's the very basic thing scientists (or those with a scientific mind) actually understands. Prove that God is applicable via scientific method, then we'll talk.
damn! MS you gotta chill my nig, I understand your love for the chock value but most of the time it is too much for people on the forum.
So based on your own logic & actions that means you are the most emotional poster on this site, especially when it comes to the same narrow range of topics you like to focus on & beat everyone over the head with your opinions on said topics. But I digress because you're just trying to enlighten the feeble minded majority on the internet........
Don't rely on it the same reason why you shouldn't rely on a Garmin....it's not worth losing a sense of direction over. Trust me. It's a motherfucker when dealing with people who rely too much on machines to get to point A to point B.
