OK. This is only embarrassing because the woman that I had a crush on when watching the old reruns of the Dick Van Dyke show is Mary Tyler Moore (who is older than my mom).

She had that slim body, Irish eyes, and seemed so vulnerable as a wife that I absolutely said to myself as a boy of ten that if I had the chance when I grew up, I would find a girl just like her.

When I think about it, every serious relationship I've had has been with women that had a semblance of the role Mary played on the show (supportive, sensitive, attractive, wearing her emotions on her sleeve, not afraid to cry, etc.). And, in real life, she's always been very giving and classy.

Had she been my age, I would have locked the bedroom door and thrown away the key. She was HOT (at least from my vantage point).
