I wasn't being serious "Flyingeek" about not marrying a Swedish woman for the actions of one woman. Silence isn't worth 750 million. She straight up punked him. Everything HE worked for was basically stolen from him. She did nothing. She should have received maybe 50 million. Elin is a single mother in the same way as Tiger is now a single Dad. They will each see the kids for half the week, so they are sharing equal parenting responsibilities.

 

You guys on here talked and talked about income missed by being a wife it was never mention opportunity lost by not being single and meeting a man to take care of you. It was opportunity lost from career advancement and as sure as I'm sitting here Mary Fucking Poppins would have never made 750 million dollars and neither would Elin Woods. And please enough of the single mom none sense, in this particular case no matter who had control of the money the kids would have been well taken care of.

Honestly, I think you read a lot into all this that simply isnt there.
Both in terms of Elin (we know nothing on what happend there so just dont assume the absolute worts) and women on here - where is the harping that its right to take the kids?? And I dont think Lippy meant Elin is a saint..

I think the way you interpret things acctually says more about you than the women that has chimed in here.
This isnt a black and white picture - and just because women dissagree with some of what you say here - doesnt mean they are on Elins side and think what she did was right... you have to keep the perspective of the whole picture on both sides.

We all know your stance in this so its clear to me you get a biased in subjects like this and I think you lose the sight of the big picture.

What was there to read in between those lines FG? That was her exact statement so what are you talking about.
And as far as taking the kids when I said harping, I was referring to earlier threads where the women on here like Bookie JC and Lippy think that a woman should get most of the assets since they are the primary caregivers who might be expected to leave work early or make time for their kids if anything might happen. So I dial it back FG i assumed nothing. I am always fair and logical. Always. I'm just more passionate about certain things but fair minded.

 

well, i am going to admit that i don't think it is an insane amount of money for her to get in a settlement...how much money do you think they spent every year as a couple? if he makes 85 million a year...if she is getting 750 million with a one year old at home then that is approx 45 million a year for the next 17 years until the youngest becomes 18...i also doubt this is cash money but more than likely assets

how much money did tiger pay the women he had affairs with...how much money did he spend on them? for how long...i bet if we broke it down and did the math they were very high paid prostitutes...do you think tiger will get involved with any of the same women again or will it be all new women?

I have never seen any of the women you mention say that they should have most of the assets, they can correct me if Im wrong. I honstly didnt take Lippys comment exactly 100% serious but more of a general statement of what went on. I now see she thinks it is a fair amount. But that is her right to think so.
