My advice as always been, if your famous just don't get married. There is no point in doing so. There are so many women trying to stick pussy in your face that its just not worth the temptation. When you have money you'll be tempted because who's there to tell you no? You have a bunch of "Yes" men/women in your camp, nobody is going to tell a man with millions of dollars "No you can't do that".

Elin being Swedish has nothing to do with it. Any woman with a competent divorce lawyer can get this done. Men with much less get taken to the cleaners on a regular basis.

Divorce in Western Culture is very unfair if your a man, plain and simple.

The point is that women in the western world have an incredile sense of entitlement? To be fair all people in the western world act this way and needs to stop. We handle every single thing with litigation to the point communication is all but dead. So yeah women and men alike should count their lucky stars but in the context of this conversation women are too quick to take advantage. How anyones moral compass can allow them to honestly believe seeking out the majority of someones life time earnings because of infedlilty is inconcievable and this is a major reason why women get stamped as over emotional and irrational and I refuse to say some because you guys are intelligent enough to know what imean and I won't encourage the some versus all bs anymore.

 

Hmm, I actually totally don't give a shit how much of Tiger's money she gets. Unless the money is going in or out of my bank account I don't care.

 

This is basically how I feel. In my experience these divorce settlements always seem to be in favor of the woman. Whether it is the rich or regular Joe. Granted women are more often than not left to be the primary guardians of the kids so they should get help in the form of child support. Depending on the situation I can see alimony being granted. Some men specifically tell their wives that they don't want them to work and wants them to stay at home taking care of the kids. So if he she decides to give up her career for the sake of the family then the man should help take care of her because he is the reason that she ended her career in the workplace.

I can understand Elin getting enough money to help the kids continue the life style that they were accustomed too, but she doesn't need more than that. Maybe 10-15 million. If she can't raise two kids off of that then her kids need to be taking away from her. But taking 25, 50, or 75% of a billion dollars just because he cheated is ridiculous. Any person that marries a famous person should already know that from the jump that their spouse is cheating or will probably cheat sometime in the future especially for the man. A man simply can't turn down that much booty.

 

I'm sorry but that's not true.

Women get stamped as emotional and irrational because it was a handy means of keeping us out of power. We were trained to be emotional and irrationality. We were encouraged to be emotional and irrational. We were praised that way and labeled that way for hundreds of years.

I don't support the predominate female view of infidelity, but there's absolutely no doubt that Men as a group are predominately equally emotional and irrational about infidelity.

Women may be emotional and irrational about this, but that's not why we get called that.

 

The person with the most, has the most to lose. It matters not whether that person is male or female. I suspect it is fairly accurate to say that a larger percentage of men in divorces out earn their spouses, and thus they'd have the most financially to lose, however that's not always the case. You take a woman who out earns the man substantially and she's going to go through just as much shit as any man would, and she's going to have primary custody of the child(ren), and be supporting them. So in those cases she ends up worse off than the typical man.

"If you say so, dear", was a tactic created by White Men to make White Women hush, because nothing a Woman could say was of any value, anyway. It was tiring and trivial and pointless to listen to.
