Tiger Woods’ wife to win reported $750m divorce settlement, no girlfriends’ visits with their young kids

"Disgraced, philandering golf legend Tiger Woods is reportedly banned from allowing any girlfriends near his two children as part of a divorce deal that has netted his ex-wife, Elin, a record $750 million US settlement, the British Sun newspaper reports today.


The Sun’s story, headlined “No birdies in front of kids, Tiger,” says the 34-year-old Woods has agreed to keep single women away from his three-year-old daughter Sam and one-year-old son Charlie.


Woods can introduce his children to one of his lady loves only if he marries her, The Sun says.


In return, 30-year-old Elin Woods (formerly Nordegren) gets a record payout in a celebrity divorce.


Furthermore, only married women not romantically linked to Woods will be allowed around the children — plus female members of staff known to Nordegren.


One caveat, though, for the wronged wife: she can never speak publicly about her wayward husband’s flings with, among others, socialite Rachel Uchitel, reality star Jaimee Grubbs, porn star Joslyn James and more than a dozen other women.


"Elin is desperate to protect the children from the womanizing side of their father,” a unnamed friend is quoted as saying. "Tiger's main fear is her telling her story after he's rebuilt his reputation, sending him back to the gutter."


A former model, the Swedish Nordegren gets double the sum she originally sought, after her lawyers proved that Woods was worth much more than the $1 billion US she thought.


Her friend says in the article: "Elin's legal team have done a great job digging up all sorts of assets.


"The price of the huge sum is her silence: no interviews, tell-all books, or TV appearances about this for the rest of her life — even if Tiger dies first — or she'll lose the lot."


The friend adds: "Everything's signed. Elin is ready to file for divorce at Orlando County Court. She expects to in the next seven days."


Nordegren gets sole physical custody of their children but they will split legal custody.


That means Woods will share decisions about their future — so Nordegren will not be able to permanently relocate them to her native Sweden. Woods will be able to see the kids for up to half of each week.


He can renegotiate the custody agreement in five years."

A travesty of the highest order, Tiger should be ashamed of himself for many reasons, his behavior to cause this situation and agreeing to a divorce settlement of this magnitude.

 

I'm working on it trust me. What bugs me is the idea that a court would award three quarters of a persons life time earnings to another based on infidelity is plain wrong. He didn't abuse his kids and he didn't abuse her. Half would of been ridiculous but three quarters says what stay faithful until the divorce and you're lucky to leave with half of what you earned completely and totally by yourself. Yeah yeah the image bs that women on here brought up was a good arguement until a friend of mine made a great point by saying all of Tigers endorsements which was the bulk of his money were offered to him because he was a winner and had those endorsements long before his wife came into the picture. I think you misread my post, I was saying that the settlement was a travesty and that Tiger should be ashamed of himself for agreeing to it, and being dumb enough to put himself in this situation in the first place. In my estimation she should have got *maybe* $20 million, which is still MUCH more than she would have made as nanny/model.

 

There was an article in Fortune last year that said Tiger's net worth was approaching $1 Billion, when asked about it, he claimed that he was not a billionaire, the numbers reported in the story were inflated, and that he most assuredly did not have a billion in cash.

My apologies sir and I'm in complete agreement with you. He should be dropped by his sponsers again. A true winner would have fought this tooth and nail. And I know women think this was a blow for women and infidelity but if anything more young successful vollege educated guys like me won't even consider marriage.
