So THAT's where you went? I started looking for you on the STi forums but couldn't find any recent postings. How close are you to the boarder with The Netherlands? How do you like teaching English? As for what you experienced, I got a TINY bit of that but not in Germany. A Ukrainian women I know gave me a backhanded comment about HIV/AIDS not being an issue until "The Africans" showed up - Hmmmm Africans in Europe = Root of All Evil :smt067 Actually some people might say Islam is the root of all evil but that's another forum. Well shhh dude, I just finished A+, I'm moving onto Network + and MCDT. The Microsoft testing is cheaper so I'm going to do that next. I'll have to put in my 2-3 years of working locally (in the States) before I can start applying for various jobs around Europe. My SRT-4 is gone = BOOOO Cars are way too expensive in Europe because of the exchange rate, so I'll likely be buying a car her and shipping it to Mainland Europe. Are you driving in Germany? Got a German license? I totally concur with raising a family in Germany. The Government is giving out some pretty good incentives to have children for one thing. Education and Health Care are also attractive reasons. That was/is the general consensus when I stopped posting here.
I need the experience, though having said that, I know somebody in Austria who's working an IT internship. He's African-American and from the States. I might look into something like that. What's interesting is asking about basic employment information from expats tends to be hard and very limited in scope. Its looked at from a Caucasian, white collar, MBA/PhD point of view which is of no use to me. As for friends and contacts we'll see, I make friends easy, I still DJ. I would continue wherever I lived anyway.
there is a difference between those that talk about it endlessly and those that just do it...civic didn't come here whining about american ww for days...weeks...months...years...he is already there handling his business...it doesn't sound like it was a last resort for him but rather a choice...more power to him for putting together the money and a plan as well as making it happen...if bm want to move to europe or australia it doesn't have to be a negative about american women...perhaps just a positive for the man seeking adventure in his life...
Well DJ4M it is a start for one contact and many more to come. There are jobs that pay well for a brother of skills but,it may be tired. Anyway,a job is a job just as long it can pay the bills for the apartment and lets you travel freely in Europe. I just wished there is a book for the Black-American expat in Europe.
LMAO Does this sound like a man who has a positive opinion of American WW to you? The scales have been knocked off of the eyes of many a brother in recent years. They now know that a decent brother has better chances with women from Canada, Europe and the land down under. I realize that it's upsetting to American broads who are used to getting quality brothers on discount, but the secret is out. The brother who are able can and will free themselves from the shackles of American femdom.
We all come frome Africa after all. What makes you better than me? The Islam is a religion and not a color of skin or race. There a enough brothers who are actually muslim.
I haven't been around for quite sometime.. However, it is FACT that European white women will give you way more of a fair shake than American white women will... Ive seen it in NYC and now here first hand. Yes im sure some of the brothers do need to work on their game but ive been in this game A LONG time...ive been dating white women since i was 14 years old and i know whats going on out here. Its not impossible to end up with an attractive American white woman.. however your options are VERY limited.. if you want to look as a vast ocean of white women and go out there and pick the best one that suits you its extremely hard. Its pretty much take what you can get.. you dont have options of dating around and figuring out whats the best wife for you.. if you an attactive girl thats will to take you in.. you just have to take it.. and thats just not fair. Ok well heres a tidbit of info: If any of you brothers are looking to get out of the states and into Germany they are looking like crazy for IT people and Engineers and they WILL sponsor your visa NO GERMAN NEEDED... Most of the Americans I have met here work in the IT sector so that should be your goal if you want to get out. Monie is on the right track. You generally dont need a car here man because the train system is so well organized but when i buy a car I am gonna buy one from America and have it shipped over. Probably an Evo 9 or something else. Ive been driving on my american license for quite sometime but I will be getting a german license sometime in the near future. The main reason I think it will be better to raise a family here is because the social system here i think is great.. they even pay you to have children here called Kindergeld. Also, most likely my children will be mixed and I dont want them to grow up in America and deal with many of the racial issues I did... I still feel like people here are more accepting. As long as you are smart and well spoken you are more readily accepted. www.toytowngermany.com Has many topics about experiences of black people in germany.. including myself.. in the beginning i was very upset about my club experiences here but as people started to know me a little better the racism has died down a little bit with the entry. You are correct it wasnt a last resort.. I decided to leave the US. The chance came by and i decided to give Europe a chance.. I had great experiences with German women and figured it would be time for a fresh start and adventure so I took it.. 8 months later im still here. I just sold my car and off I went.
I know brothers who've lived up their and had the opposite experience. Maybe you were in the wrong location.
Compaired to Australian and European women, the Canadian women don't hold up well which I believed they have more American mentalities.
Racism is something that's global, so to a degree, I don't think it matters where you are. You'll have to deal with society's "core issues" no matter where in the world you are.
I heard about all of this. It really boiled down to the fact most women leave East Germany (the poor Germany) and head west or to other parts of Europe. For work. A lot easier for women to find work. Most of the young men are left with the elderly. Making them unempolyed, disgruntled and angry. Who else is there to blame for their own short comings....FOREIGNERS
