LOL, that was what I was telling these cats, shit I'm a New Yorker. Muggings, dirty water hot dog stands, crowded subways and buses, cabs ignoring me as a black man, etc I can deal with. I'm not kosher with the earth shaking beneath me. :shock:
West coasters like myself know a thing or two about an earthquake. I can imagine it must of been a new experience for a lot of East coasters.
I felt it here on Long Island as well. It it was the first time I ever experienced something like that.
Supposedly, people felt it in Buffalo...I never did. However, GEICO was 15 minutes north of us, and about 25 from Buffalo, and THEY felt it. Makes no sense.
