It is about time but,the folks from AEG would be getting away with it. Besides,he should not had left him alone and wanting to talk to his girlie.
I personally think I'm rather glad Murray's guilty. I watched the whole trial from day 1, and I think the procescution did a really good job on putting on facts and stuff. The defense didn't even TRY! Well, they did but they didn't make enough valid points. Simple as that.
people think that murray is a fall guy for sony. look at the so-called time he might get. I beginning to go along with them
He was found guilty because he is guilty. No one forced him to do what he did. As a doctor (who had no business practicing medicine in any capacity IMO), it was his responsibility to say NO to the request/demand to do what he knew was wrong. Not only did he fail to do that, he also failed to respond properly to the emergency medical situation, which would most likely have kept his patient from dying. His priorities were himself & the money he was being paid rather than the health & well-being of his patient. He has no excuse.
Ultimately, it was Murray's hand that played the cards dealt in a game he (Murray) clearly had the juice to play, pass, or fold on. If he truly cared about his patient's health and well being, we wouldn't be having this discussion. If Sony influenced his decisions and actions in any way, he still had the power to stay and play or walk away, if there were no other options... Murray played a major role in the loss of life, in a discipline he took an oath to uphold. There had to be alternatives... He chose to acquiesce or cave in, for whatever reason and (judging from his recent television interview) accepts no responsibility for his role in the game. Sometimes tough love is the only way to deal with a "child"...
