police thought this guy was so serious, they sent in "elite paramilitary police," which i'm guessing is just a fancy way of saying SWAT...

if a guy did that in philadelphia, he would have gotten mugged for the remote.. or just beat down by some local homeboys, who were on some "lets beat up the first drunk we see" bullshit....

or...a regular beat cop would have just taken the liberty, to put the drunk in an illegal chokehold, until he passed out
