limbaugh an NFL studio commentator for ESPN in 2003 -- lasting less than a full season -- after making controversial remarks about McNabb, then with the Eagles. He claimed McNabb was overrated and said that the media "has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well."

McNabb doesn't play anymore. He works for the NFL network as a commentator. He gets paid to express his opinion, and he's right. This contract is a joke.

Hey now, Al Davis was a brilliant football mind for most of his life. Towards the end, things went south, but Jerry's been crazy far longer than Al was! 55 million guaranteed to Romo, 108 million total??? I don't know 1 person who think that's a worthwhile offer! Even when Romo plays "ok" (and "ok" is probably the best you'll ever get out of him), he's completely overrated by some. He's not a good qb. Period. He can't scramble worth shit (yes, his o line sucks, but that's when you need your qb to have some mobility), and he throws to the defense waaaay too often. Where's his fire, his passion? Post game interviews are incredibly ho-hum, and if that's your main guy on the field, he's probably not doing much to fire up the troops on the sidelines.

Romo's laughing all the way to the bank with this contract.

 

al was brilliant no doubt, starting with his hard on for my fav "raida" m Allen then his refusing to see Russell made leaf look good makes me wonder how sane he was the last 10 yrs lol
