If a guy I was really interested in took my number and waited a few (3-5) days to call me, I'd be annoyed. Unless there were unforseen circumstances, I would wonder how interested he really was if he waited that long. Even if he was out of town, how long does it take to give a quick call just to say hi and set up a time later to talk? I would appreciate that more than silence. That tells me he is thinking about me.
