I don't have any experience meeting women on online dating sites, LOL, but from what I've heard, men run into a lot of whack job women on online dating sites, too. There are a lot of humdingers on online dating sites: men AND women.

I've pretty much given up hope of finding a good guy online. 2 of the 3 guys I'm talking to right now, I first met in person. I just don't have a lot of opportunities to meet people in "real-life", though, which is why I originally tried the online dating thing.

The VC below may help him. In general guys need to be very careful about how they respond to ads women post online. many books, blogs etc were written about the subject. I would say people who date online have high standards and 6 out of 10 are not the best looking people. Face to face is always better.

there are ways to verify physical appearance tho..one of them being mutual webcam sessions

some people act like you can't get to see how a person really looks, because of the internet. Webcams pretty much nullify that train of thought. If you two are feeling each other, i'm pretty sure spending chump change on a cam is worth it. Both parties can see what they're getting, and avoid being misled. If she doesn't want to cam or acts shady when it comes to making sure you know who she is, that should raise some redflags. I understand some people may not be comfortable with camming, but if you dont want to talk on the phone, or share photos with you displaying something I sent you, you're out.

It's actually pretty simple on most of those sites because you can see when their last log-in was or if the message was read or not. If the message was read and they don't reply then you should probably move on.

 

If I were you I wouldn't hit her back even if she hit me back. She left you hanging so basically she's saying that you she'll get back to you on her time. I'm not chasing no woman and I don't care how fine she is.

I am currently on a dating site & was completely overwhelmed with the amount of messages the first few days. I don't know if men get alot of responses or not like that but I've heard most women do. So don't think they are ignoring on purpose.
