Does anyone here work in the Film Business?

I would love to have conversations with other people working the the film business, or maybe someone has family that works in this business or some kind of education.

I am on IMDb, though I haven't been in any movies other than very, very, very low budget films (think $1000 or less).

So I can't say I'm "in" the film business, though I am working towards achieving that goal. :smt023

 

Well, im going to college for film if that counts. I want to be a film editor/ sound designer.

All I can think about is what my friend and I would be able to accomplish with even just $9,000 to make our films. ACK!
