About this site or life in general?

 

On the site: I really enjoy a number of people on here and I like it when we can discuss a variety of topics respectfully (even if we vehemently disagree). These people are intelligent, thoughtful, witty and open to others' opinions.

Off the site: A friend encouraged me recently to keep a dream alive. My spirits have been very low, but I have chosen not to give up. Although outwardly, nothing has changed, inwardly hope is returning.

 

In life i just added twin boys to the APPIAH brood last week and they look too much like me for them not to be mine. I guess its a positive in my life. On the site well.........

 

I do just looking for other positive folks to talk to

OP you started several threads that are known hot buttons here. There is a search option so I assume you already know what you were getting into. Don't start things like that and then expect kittens and rainbows.

Are you referring to me? I ask questions or start topics based on one thing. They later turn into other things. That happens. I was under the impression that this is a forum for everyone to post in. So, If I wish to start a topic that gets people to discuss hot issues, or if I wish to make one about positive things in everyone's day, life, or on the site it is my prerogative.

I am quite serious. I enjoy discussing positive things as well as getting opinions of various people on hot topics. I think if my topics offend or get people angry there is the option of not commenting in the thread at all.

On a lighter note I am feeling positive that some people posted positive things i this thread. I think it's nice to take a break from heated discussion. I meant to post this on Thanksgiving, but I got sidetracked. I am also happy that the holidays are here and people seem to be rather friendly around this time of year.
