In anycase, I think Pey is talking about dating or when you first meet when no one really knows what the deal is. You don't know who the other person is yet. You just know that there is something there between the two of you. At that point there are still no strings attached. Its the discovery phase. Its casual. No one's committed to anything. So, when another guy comes along she can walk away with him if she likes. Or, if another woman comes along, you can walk away.
