Yeah i do think of dying in the more depressive moments (not suicidal lol) but i worry more since i had the children, ie who would take care of them, would my ex be able to cope with them and so on look after them well:(

The only time i thought about it before i had them, was when i use to muse over how many people excluding family would come to my funeral, ie if i there was gonna be less than 50 it wouldn't be good to go untill you got at least that number, you know what i mean (self obsessed thought) lol;)

I think death gives life meaning. So death has meaning. It means to add meaning to your life. Knowing that your life won't last forever might make some people want to appreciate it a little more and make better use of the alotted time they have/might/could have. Death is very necessary and meaningful. Without death, life would have no meaning.

    Hi all
I deeply think I as Soul am immortal.
I' m immortal and free I'm not the body .
the real Self the true Self is Soul or consciousness ,not the body for the body goes back to dust.

Sure I think about death. That is why I live each day to the fullest an let those near and dear know how special they are to me. Maybe I am weird, but I am not afraid of death.

I think a version of this as well. Death is a part of the cycle, without death there is no life, without sun, there is no moon - you know that kinda stuff.

We have sanitized and removed death so much from our western culture that we fear it (because it's unknown maybe?) in some cases. Once you see death first hand (provided it's not violent and gory) you realize that it's a part of the cycle and is ok. That's my take on it anyways. The more death I see around me the more I LOVE :smt049 each moment of life and each particle of everything of the natural wonders and humanity and love itself.

    Yes I can be weird.

Well, so am I. So who is he?

I do think about death, I work with the elderly, the disabled and the terminally ill. So I see a lot of it. I have been at the beside of a dear black man when he died. What I've personally seen was very peaceful, and he was a Christian. He went very peacefully, no visions and such, just rolled his eyes up in his head and died.

Anyway, I do think death is not all that important, it's life that's important, but depending on how we live, I believe we will be judged when we die. I absolutely believe in heaven and hell. So I try to live as best I can, and always be ready to die, although I plan to live a very, very long time. We never know when our days will be up, and I want to make sure I'm ready to meet my maker.

But truly being ready is more about knowing God has forgiven me for my sins, not that I never sin, just that when I do, I quickly make it right with Him. It's not about how I live, so much, as it is about knowing my relationship with Him is right.

When I was in my teens, I didn't think I'd make it to 25. Not too many months ago, I had a hard time convincing myself that it was worth it to make it another day.

At any rate, yeah I do think about it. Not to the point that I am fascinated with it or anything. (The rest is corny, so I'll keep it to myself)

Made a lot of dumb decisions during those years. A lot of my acquaintances were BD and we ended up doing a lot of really stupid stuff.
