Average lifespan is only 66.12 years. I'm only 23, the first 23 years of my life hsa just felt like a blur, time feels to be going by so fast, maybe I just have another 2 of my lifespans on earth. Maybe I die Tommie next week, maybe I'm weird for thinking about this lol. All the hundreds and hundreds of diseases, I got to deal with high blood pressure and cancer in my family etc.

I wonder sometimes when I'm going to die how I'm going to die, I could probably name ten-15 people I know who have died before the age of 25.

I think about it a lot.. average lifespan for women here is 84.. but that doesn't help much, I mean, so much could happen.

I'm more scared someone I love will die though, then myself.
Or well, If it would be because of an act of violence, that would be horrible, but still, it would be worse to know that someone you loved had to suffer.

mmm ok, it's a sad thread but i think that everybody thinks about death sometimes, especially in the moments when u feel that your like sucks etc. I wonder if there would be somebody who would be sad if i died, things like that. But I must say I thought about that more when I was a teenager. And about time passing by... hell... when I was little time never passed... now.... it seems like yesterday that I went to my first class at the univ (4 yrs ago). Now I'm a doctor etc... I start to understand when parents say "it seems like yesterday that u were a baby" etc. I used to make fun of them but I think that the more u get old, the quicker time passes. :smt100.
It's a bit out of thread but U know something that made me feel like i'm getting old? Friday I had to go to the professional abilitation exam... and I took of the closet my pearls necklace (wich my god-mother gave to me for my first communion telling me "u'll appreciate that when u grow up"). I felt like I needed that necklace to look more professional. 1 yr ago I would have never worn a pearls necklace. lol, ok, I'm done :)

Life is stressful/exciting/boring/interesting/fucked-up for me to worry about dying.

Though, if i'm gonna die, it'll be like this dude did:

I had a dream I was drowning a couple of weeks ago, woke up panicking from hyperventilating. That was scary. You know, being in the water, realizing there was no way I would be able to get to the surface.
Would be nice not to die that way. Or burning. Or any other way that causes panic and immense amounts of pain.

Your genetics dictate your lifespan to a large extent. Look at how long the people in your family have lived (if they died of natural causes).

I have women on both sides of my family who lived well into their nineties. Which means it may be a long ride for me too... if there's no nuclear war or something coming up.

Death is meaningless, it's life that carries all of the meaning, something you miss in thinking about death.

Every other day. Sometimes I want to find quick and painless way, but whatever. In exactly 4 yeah, if it's true, this shit will be over.

The Mayans couldn't tell the difference between a Spanish conquistador (Cortez) and a supernatural being, so no it isn't true. And this means you'll be fat with low self-esteem and a shitty job after 2012 if you don't do something about it today.

Hmm....guess so, assuming that it's guaranteed I'll be fat with a shitty job. It's possible though. If that shitty job is enough to pay the bill and not have to worry about much, then I can't really complain I guess.
