I believe in Karma, but I don't think it's so clear cut. I think it comes back in different forms and times unexpected. Not the way you dish it out is the way it'll come back, be it good or bad.

And you're talking nonsense over and over again. Generally speaking, westerners understanding of karma is based largely on new age bullshit and more so, an excuse to not hold themselves accountable. In other words, it's an incorrect way of using it. The cause and effect concept behind is severely flawed, especially since innocent lives suffer greatly. Karma is an excuse. Not a reality.

How is it stupid? His example wasn't based off of good karma or destiny or any of that nonsense. How difficult is it for anyone to comprehend that at all? People will create ideas into their heads, even changing the idea in an incorrect manner. That's not arrogance. That's just proper observation. He's a billionaire entrepreneur, not a philosophical intellectual.

You're correct. There's no logical reasoning behind karma. What's your point? Furthermore, science can't necessarily explain everything in a given period. But at least there are viable explanations pertaining to the human condition and that's based a lot of psychology and neurological understandings of the human mind and how it operates.

I don't even know what sort of point you're making here because it's very much irrelevant to the overall discussion.

The definition of wealth/success varies, I'll give you that. But they all have one point of commonality: the means of being satisfied and comfortable with their own livelihood. You can't simply "believe" in putting oneself in a position of success unless you're speaking on luck and fortune.

I believe in cause and effect. Nothing more. The universe doesn't pay back good deeds, nor does it punish bad ones. The universe doesn't give a flying fuck what any of us do...it just 'is'.
