lol this is a weird thread . I only read few post and i dont think ww walk faster i think its more what you do at that time if am with friends will walk more slow and talk if am alone will walk faster what will i do on the road walking slow like a crazy just get fast where you need to go.

I walk slow. And I like to play chicken with people. If someone is walking towards me, I'll run into them before I move over.

Yep I have been known to walk really fast. I blame men for it though. I think it comes from when I was young and my first boyfriend was MUCH taller than I was. I had to walk really fast to keep up with him.

I blame my best friend in HS who walked fast and had longer legs than me. I had to walk super fast to keep up with her, and I've been walking fast ever since. And even when I slow my pace by half, I still get complaints from people that I walk too fast. :smt042

Actually I think this whole subject is pretty funny! I never thought about it before but yeah -- I do walk kind of fast!

In my case it's not because I feel threatened -- it's just a habit I guess! I think I might have gotten it from my mom. Whenever we went shopping at the mall, she was like greased lightning and we couldn't keep up. LOL
