Look at a lot of films in the 80's, a lot of actresses had high hip and more legs. Nastassia Kinski had booty. Christie Brinkley had booty. Geena Davis had booty. Alice Krige(Alma Mobley from Ghost Story and Star Trek: First Contact as the Borg Queen) had a booty. And a few others I remember. But black and Latinas women were consistent. Now, things are different.

Fashion designers were very big on shoulder pads. The show Dynasty showed a lot of the female co-stars wearing shoulder pads on their wardrobe.

 

Men and women also wore the big hair. However, it worked for as some but not for all.
