I wasn't disputing what he said, I was just pointing out that when you don't have a car here in L.A., you're looked down on. Not saying everybody does this, but this is Hollywood and status plays a big part here.

 

I can imagine that's true. I think in NYC (especially Manhattan) it's somewhat normal not to have a car because public transit is so great and parking so terrible. Based on the (admittedly little) time I've spent on LA freeways, I think that everyone has a car... maybe three or four! :smt002

 

That's why I said what I said. LA vs. NY. It's acceptable to not have car there (not just the city), whereas out here, it's not.

Yeah, 2 cars per household is the norm here.

Well, I watched again, they didn't specify, but they said Taco Bell, probably more Taco Bells in LA than NY. She was riding the bus too....lol, i know some guys on here don't like him, but Steve is funny....

When we watched it, I pictured 2 of the possible popular Taco Bells they were talking about. I think it was here, but that's besides the point...

No disrespect to BW, but don't they do the same with BM too? Some of the most, by outwardly appearance, confident women have been larger BW. They go for what they know and have no shame in their games.

it's not race-specific.. more a matter of standards. Many people have lower standards and just don't care who they hook up with, and most people are lazy in terms of health/physical fitness.

black women are just as guilty.

 

All decent and well-adjusted people are in demand to some extent, but nobody has carte blanche. My previous girlfriend (who was Asian) and one of her female friends told me how annoying and presumptively arrogant some of the "yellow fever" and "rice chasing" white men they encounter can be.

 

I mean I've heard this a few times from guys on here. I guess they think it's that White Privilege mentality that they think these women have, but of course that can't be said for BW (and other races) who do it too (like you said).

 

it's a shame this country is so hung up on race, but i suppose many do see it that way.
