Good for you, but Black women of that ilk pull all sorts of good looking Black men. In the Black dating world, misshapen, fake hair, attitude having women like Sherri Shepherd not only pull, but reject intelligent and handsome Black men like Hill Harper. If busted White women think they call pull handsome Black men, it because they can and do, just like Black women do. It's all good, love the one you're with.

I think it his posts rather point at stop focusing on what ww "pull" in regards to bm and that women regardless of color of their choice of mate are going for the same standards.... "Its not a ww thing" - that is how I read it.

I dont think he ever meant that bm is at the bottom of the barrel - we know that is not the truth. (If so, then we can drag up the old stereotype that bm pull ww from the bottom of the barrel - which is insulting to both bm and ww).

Further more, what is beatiful to one is not to someone else, is that really basis of saying that someone pulls the bottom of the barrel?

People need to stop passing judgement on who people chose as their mate and interpret it as they are low on the totempole for doing so....

That was the whole point: the standards of ww and bw are pretty much the same when it comes to your particular example.

I know we have discussed that ww have higher standards when it comes to a bm mate than a wm mate (that is some peoples opinion).

We have also discussed that bw are rejecting bm that ww would love to have as a mate based on job, cars, paycheck etc (that is yet other peoples opinion).
To me, those two are mutually exclusive as a whole although we all have different experiences on that and thus have different opinions.

There are stereotypes that certainly needs to die and then there are unfortunate truths.


Do I believe your example can have his choice of attractive ww? Probably not, just as much as his choice would be equally limited with bw.. but a "busted" up wm with a menial job would have similar limitations imo.
