Despite the negative opinions on African cultures, I've always had a genuine respect for them, mainly because out of all the cultures in the world, the African cultures tend to be a lot less materialistic.

those negative opinions are just that, opinions--like buttholes, everyone has one!

what is wrong with african culture that isnt wrong with European or American or Asian or Latino culture?

because of the strong values we attach to kids, an African man finds it very difficult to adopt a child, since he needs his lineage(blood) to continue. He would go to almost any length to get a kid of his own, and whenever the woman wants to call his bluff by threatening to leave he tells her she can go but not with the kids.

Don't worry most people see any thing African in a negative light. That doesn't bother me as I believe our family values are stronger than most, that is why we have very low divorce rates. Also single mothers is very rare in African as an African man never runs away from his duties.

i am part african, but my faith comes before my race so adopting a needy child, a child who needs a home, comes before bloodlines for me

I assume it's a baby girl? So many girls are dumped in China, it's criminal.

As for the African man's desire to reproduce, well I only had my baby 5 weeks ago and Iffy is ALREADY going on about the next one! And the status he has given our daughter is so high she's almost untouchable. I do think it has a lot to do with her being named after his late mother though, who he absolutely adored.
