Don't think this has been posted yet, but just saw the new DJ hero commercial full of interracial relationships. Also from the comments it seems to have gotten under lots of peoples skin but who cares about them.

these idiots that dont like being around other people, simply havent had positive experiences in life. all of my sports teams were mixed growing up, and so was my campus apartment. not once was I bothered by it.

if you live in a shell and count your experiences by way of TV, or a movie, you may not be in a position to give a worthy position on IR.

honestly...i doubt any of those commentators have been in situations, where they had fruitful and healthy relationships, in college dorms, military barracks, sports, etc. Many of them probably draw conclusions from brief skirmishes, or what they seen in some movie.

Some posters here suffer from that also, as they have said nothing positive about a white guy since I've been around.

Can't really do much about it, since the only way they can learn, is by being put in situations, where they share stuff like rent, bills, shop for food together, bum rides off one another, etc, etc, over a good duration. I've had years of putting parts of my life, into the hands of someone of a different color, so I go into confrontations with a blind eye.

I normally don't read that stuff but, yeah, that was just awful. Simply a bunch of losers who are so insecure a freakin' commercial causes them to go into their prepared rants (its as if all these folks get the same comments from some overseer).

 

It just blows my mind that people think that way. I can't comprehend it. It hurts my brain!

I saw the commercial as well and it bothered me even though I myself am a product of a inter-racial relationship.

It had as usual white women (blonde of course) with black men, and a asian man with bw which is a throw away since demographically it doesn't happen. The bias of men towards lighter skin color doesn't need enforcing by the media... just look at marriage numbers which is over 2:1 WW/BM to BW/WM. Also for example there is no blackwomenwhitemen.com (its a link farm). Its really hard for black (biracial) women like my sister to find a succesful man.

And long term its worth noting that it was not Vitamin D that led to white people evolving. Europeans remained dark up until the glacial maximum where sexual selection led to white skin. Exactly whats happening here where succesful people have kids only when they can "afford" it.

All this considered I can understand why some people are bothered by the consistent depiction of white women and black men, inter racial relationships are celebrated as a sign of equality but all thats really happened is that mens preference for lighter skinned women has been unleashed. And if that preference is not innate then at least the media should stop the disproportionate depiction. Can you guys understand why there's some consternation about this issue?

 

Because I also prefer white women... but the number of single black women out there bothers me. The consistent depiction of white women and black men instead of white men and black women bothers me. I'm not arguing that there shouldn't be inter-racial relationships, they're great. What I don't like is the preference for lighter skinned women being enforced by the media as it was in this commercial...

Yes I do plan to marry a black woman as I am successful and I'm against so many successful brothers marrying white. BUT, I have tended to date white women... hence my being here.

 

That begs the question of a few people who post (or troll) here. I don't get it either...lol

Then again, when you have an agenda, you want others to share it....
