DJ Four Money - International Traveler

First and For most I would like to say HI to those that know me from back in the day and while STi's site is down for the time being to focus on other pursuits, I wanted to get some input from my fellow international travelers.

I've been planning my trip to Europe for at least 4 months now and with about 55 days left before I planned to leave, I have NO idea where am I going!

To complicate things a bit further I have friends I would like to visit in Bergen, Norway and Dusseldorf, Germany. If I'm not careful that makes traveling very expensive to say the least.

I originally wanted to avoid London, mainly to the exchange rate and heavy taxes they impose. There are plenty of "heavenly" bodies I would like to see in London, but honestly they can wait until my next trip aboard I would think.

Is that the right decision?

I found a flight from Dublin, Ireland to Brussels, Belgium DIRT CHEAP and that solves the MAIN problem with traveling else where, being on the mainland of Western Europe. From there I can either go South into Germany or North into The Netherlands and Scandinavia. I wanted to make one or two additional flights to reduce travel between destinations, maybe rent a car for a couple of days to give me some Independence and use the train system otherwise to get around in between visits.

Right now my trip sits on 14 days, but I could extend to 21 days without any dire consequences back at home, bill wise.

So how does this itinerary sound -

Fly from LAX to Dublin (2-3 hour layover), Dublin to Brussels (2 days), Train to The Hague (2 days), Fly to Bergen (4 days), train to Oslo (Overnight), Fly to Copenhagen (2 days), train to Berlin (2 days), Drive to Dusseldorf (4 days), fly back to LAX from Dusseldorf.

The break down is generally traveling early in the week so I can enjoy the nightlife better which usually picks up later in the week in most western cultures anyway as you get closer to the weekend.

Hey DJ wutz up! Looks like a fun trip. The only thing I would say is meet some women online before you go to some of these places. They can give you the scoop and maybe make your trip a little more exciting.

I should have started the process last month, but I had some delays to deal with and I wanted to upload some new pictures that are bit more flattering than the ones I have currently. I got my passport photos but because of the shadows at the AAA office it makes my face look fat. Naa, I'll keep those with my passport thank you very much...
