Disney to buy Lucasfilm: New Star Wars 2015!

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have time for a little leisure reading over the Christmas holiday, so I'll check one of them out then.

The Star Wars universe went from pretty decent to ridiculously stupid thanks to the expanded stories of the franchise.

It's been done to death and Disney need not get its nasty paws on LucasFilms.

 

Star Wars is about to get the Harry Potter/James Bond treatment.

There will be sequels FOREVER. And it will suck.

11 Star Treks 2/3rds were good
8 Harry Potters 6 were good
7 Batman at least 4 were good

So I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Star Wars can maintain quality through multiple films. If the keep getting new writers and directors every few movies there is no reason it cant go on.
