Very nice and congratulations. Onwards and upwards my friend. Hopefully after our trip to Aruba I'll be planning either a wedding or buying a place together

Lucky you. We were walking around he LES last night and ended up by Union Square and there are so many places we love but the price tags are insane. A studio is are 400k.
We are going to Queens to look at some stuff but I now get why people flock south when theyre ready to raise families. The prices around here are insane

    I love New Years.

disappointment- losing the love of my life

success-feel much stronger and have a better perspective on life.

learning-that one must be happy within themselves before they can find happiness with another

Worst year of my life, by far.

But I learned a lot about myself and came away being pretty damned pleased with how I handled some massive issues. I discovered that I DO walk my talk, and I like that about me. Not everyone has that tested in a trial by fire, but I did, and came through it well. I also found out that I've had more of an impact on the lives of others than I ever would have guessed. When the shit hit the fan, my friends rallied, dozens and dozens of them, from the past and present. And most of them explained to me in technicolor detail, that the reason they had done so was because of who I am, how I live, and how that specifically had impacted their lives. I was blown away.

So never think you are not impacting other people - it happens when you don't even realize you're doing it.

I wish I had handled the aftermath of my son's stroke better, and been able to talk him into both therapy and physical therapy. But often he are like oil and water, and the stroke made that worse. :/

Oh, and I wish I hadn't gone and fallen in love. That really sucked.
