Diana Ross’ youngest Son Got MARRIED This Weekend

June 13, 2017: Ross Naess celebrated his wedding to Kimberly Ryan in Santa Barbara in front of mother Diana Ross, sister Tracee Ellis Ross, brother Evan and his family including Ashlee Simpson who acted as a bridesmaid.

Pals Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson, Cacee Cobb and Donald Faison were among the celebrity guests at the beautiful outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara.

The bride, who is expecting the couple’s second child, wore a bohemian style off the shoulder gown.

Diana Ross' eldest son, Ross Naess, is officially a married man!

The 29-year-old said "I do" to Kimberly Ryan at Rancho Dos Pueblos in Goleta, California, on Saturday, in a gorgeous bohemian-themed ceremony.

Kimberly, who is pregnant with their second child, wore a stunning white-and-gold Maria Korovilas gown and matching veil, while Ross donned a classic black Ralph Lauren tuxedo and top hat. The two are already parents to a son, 1-year-old Leif, who walked down the aisle with the newlyweds.

"A perfect moment during a perfect weekend with my mom, my pregnant bride, and my first born son," Ross later wrote on Instagram. "#camphappinaess."





Evan Ross and his wife, Ashlee Simpson, attended the ceremony, and both played major roles in Ross and Kimberly's special day. Evan hopped onstage to sing a song for the couple's "magical" first dance, while Ashlee served as a bridesmaid.


Also in attendance was Ashlee's older sister, Jessica Simpson, who put her own glam take on the bohemian theme. The fashionista sported a sparkly mini dress with cut-out sleeves, which she styled with strappy stilettos.

Other guests included Ross' mom, Diana, and his sisters, Tracee Ellis Ross, Rhonda Ross, Chudney Ross, Leona Naess and Katinka Naess.

Her voluminous raven locks were styled in her trademark tight curls and she wore silver tassel earrings for a little sparkle.

The I'm Coming Out hitmaker looked youthful with some pink blusher on her cheeks and a floral headdress pinned in her hair.

Diana was spotted walking alongside 44-year-old daughter Tracee Ellis Ross who looked lovely in a cream slip dress and sandals.

At one point Diana was pictured doting over her granddaughter Jagger, one, whose parents are Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson.

Meanwhile, the blushing bride wore an embellished gown which hugged her baby bump, as well as a long veil and carried a large bouquet of flowers.

Kimberly shared a photo of the wedding party posing outside a converted barn where the reception was held.

'We're married!!' she captioned the happy snap.

The guests apparently spent the night in tents as part of the bohemian theme.

In another snap she posted on Monday the newlywed is seen dancing with her husband as brother-in-law Evan performs on stage.

'Thank you to my beautiful brother-in-law @realevanross for singing our first dance song! What a magical way to kick off our reception!' she wrote.

Diana has five children including sons Ross, 29, and Evan, 28 with ex husband Arne Naess, Jr. and two daughters, Tracee, 44 and Chudney, 41, with first husband Robert Ellis Silberstein.

Her eldest daughter Rhonda, 45, she shares with former partner Berry Gordy, however, Rhonda was raised by Silberstein.

 

Very beautiful! It seems as though most of her kids date interracial. Kind of like the Kardashians.

 

I thought a similar thing...that they are very open to IR collectively as a family...from their parents on down..

 

Beautiful to see, such rareness. I remember a while back I had seen on the news that three sisters all were engaged to black men all had their weddings on the same day.

 

I'm curious is it interracial if everyone is half black and half white and if they were dating black people would it be interracial?

 

If everyone is biracial, then no...if the partner is not biracial, then, yes, it is IR.

I guess it's also ..how does overall society view it?

 

Multiracial maybe? Biracial though is tricky, because children are not going to always come out 50/50. I think it was Boris Kodjoe who is biracial, but found out that he was 60 something percent black.
