He's still a deeply religious person. Yet, he (as the religiously inclined would say) simply gave into temptation. There are some who still exercise a lot of control, regardless of their religious identification or lack thereof. Tebow just manage to have more self-control. Maybe it's fueled by his convictions, but more to do with his personal upbringing.
No one is saying Dwight is less faithful because he fornicates. It's having all those kids outside the bonds of Christian matrimony. In some communities every one of those babies is a BASTARD, cause daddy couldn't help getting random women pregnant. I understand the temptation but five baby mommas is ignorant.
