Dating Shows with BM/WW IR

Yes "The Real World" discriminates BIG TIME because they want their audience to be middle american or "Heart-Land". MTV may have feld more than two black people would have dominated the group and scared most of the white folks. MTV also want alot of sexual tension between the white males and females in the group.

Flav is startin up with sleepin with the contestants again. He slept with
deelishis this week and next week he is sleeping with toastee and nibblz.
See thats why I love this show that boy going having sex with the contestants(LOL). Flavor flav off the hook!!

 

I just watch the episode were Flav canned Toastee for being a porn star he does have some standards.

But I have to say this again, if he was NOT famous these women will NOT be interested in him.

Whichever "lady" Flavor Flav ends up with . . . the relationship will NOT last. Also I might add, he needs to fire the person who does the screening process for his show.

Had to jump in on this one. Kenny, I was very happy to see that they gave a brother a shot at a dating reality show even though it is FLAVAA FLAAAAV!!
To be honest, when I first saw this show I was pissed. It reminded me of the vaudeville and black-face comedies of the past. The shows where black men and women acted like buffoons so that white people can get dressed up and laugh at the monkeys. Then I realized, I'm being a little too extra and I need to let it go. Besides, the show is funny as hell. I do think that it lends to "our" (black men's) credit that we will have a diversity of women on the show and actually keep them till the end. Most of the brothers and sisters that do make the bachelor or bachelorette get their rose on the opening episode. It's like black people in horror movies, we rarely make it pass the first scene.
My question is, do you really think Flav is making the decisions on the show? Personally, I don't think VH1 would put their fate in the hands of Flava Flav. Not because I think he is an idiot, quite the contrary. I think when VH1 pitched the show, they realized that this Flava Flav character is just that - a character. I think they found that William Drayton (Flava's real persona) is a business man who is going to make sure that William Drayton is the only person that will make a clown out of Flava Flav.
As a result, I think that VH1 or the show's producers steer Flav in the right direction so that the show is interesting. Flav or William understanding that entertainment is a business, allows them to "influence" his decisions to keep the money flowing.
Brothers, I think Mr. Drayton has proven to the world that we are interesting creatures. IMHO Black Men are the last of the true Renaissance Men. We know how to handle business and our minds are open to allow everyone around us to eat off the plate of prosperity in love, money and fame!

Aww, gimme a spolier on this. I thought Delicious or Bootz was gonna take this one. Krazy is a smoker, but she is/was so phony, I thought someone was going to expose her. My mom called it when I taked to her, he luvs him some Latina booty. I wanted Bootz to win, personally.

Flavor of Love is so stupid, but you can't take your eyes away from it. It's so fun. Plus, Flavor Flav at 47 years of age, a member of Public Enemy, who I used to worship in the 80s, is a little bit watered down, but it's great TV.

Guess I don't have to watch tomorrow at 12.
Does New York have to have psychiatic care 24 hours a day? I think so.

Watched today, and I guess it's true..Bootz is gone. I liked Bootzie. It's down to Delicious, Krazy and New York. NY is just there to mix it up. So like I said, I guess Krazy IS the WINNER. Which is alright by me. Too fly.

At the end of the day, it's all a ho-fest anyway, but what good TV.

Give Flav credit, after all his problems, he has managed to be a TV mogul for the last three years and making crazy bank. He HAS to make an album after this. He has to. I'd buy it.

How many seasons are they going to air? Is this show really worth it? I dunno, I just can't see this being a lucrative idea; yet, somehow it is.

 

True indeed. I wished however that his relationship with Brigitte Nielsen would last more than a year. It is a shame that it was a joke.

As for the show... it's disgusting in my humble opinion. All the women do on the show is drop their panties or fight about Flava who is a whole different topic himself. It's sad what women do for their 15 minutes of fame (sorry for being such a party pooper) ha ha ha
