Unless she's the ultimate witch or air-headed ditz, he is an absolute idiot for cheating on Danielle. Maybe I'm alone on this but when I see a black male snag a hot white (or any race) celeb I kind of want to see them actually start marrying these women and presenting a face to the world of the black male as viable candidate for trustworthy husbands. But all I ever read about when it comes to unwed black male celebs is how they go from woman to woman. Its all about being a "playa" to the very bitter end I guess.

It's probably not as much of big deal in Europe because he can date around with tons of WW...and there will still be other WW takers when all is said and done.

In the U.S., any BM that dates around with WW after WW...will end up being marginalized by the media or he will marginalize himself. The only serial WW daters I can think of off the top of my head are Dennis Rodman, OJ Simpson and Quincy Jones.

Quincy is the only one that has mastered it yet.

I'm not just referring to a balck male celeb dating a bunch of white female celebs. I'm talking about black male celebs who reenforce a negative stereotype that black men in general are just looking to lay the field, or just interested in making babies with different women or just driven by lust and not love or not capable of being truly romantic or good choices for spouses. That type of stuff. Yeah, I can understand a young cat playing the field. But not if he cheats on a girlfriend when he's already in a relationship (just break up with the lady if you're losing interest). And if you're approaching 40 and still serial dating starlets there may be a commitment issue problem at work. Of course black male clebs are not the only ones who cheat and all that stuff. But black men across the globe have a terrible reputation for not being good family men. And its not just white people who feel that way. I have an appreciation for famous black men who challenge that view by being strong family men in the public eye.

yup..

statistics don't help the situation either...

black kids are more likely than white ones, to grow up in fatherless households..or a single-parent household, period. Such statistics was used by some people (sociologists), to connect the rising black prison population and crime rates.

Not all black men want to just screw and leave tho. You got good family men...men with decent values...

I feel what you're saying Jamal but to tell you the truth I would rather a brotha just date around like Derek Jeter for example than to make a commitment to a lady by getting engaged and/or married like Jermaine DeFoe or Ashley Cole repectively, and then be unfaithful. That really makes men and yes especially we black men, look real bad. :roll:

The irony about danielle Lloyd was that she was once accused of being racist. She was on the British Celebrity big brother show after she won Miss Great Britain, and made some snide comments to a fellow celebrity in the House(A bollywood actress), which were regarded as racist. She almost got kicked of the show. The story was big news here in the uk. After making a grovelling apology she was allowed to stay on. Now she more or less only dates black men!

 

Never been to USA before, but I can confirm Brits are really open to ir dating. Never really had problems with racists families; but then again I do live in London, one of the most multicultural cities in the UK.

 

She is an airhead! I guess he got bored of her. In the Uk girls throw themselves at football player; they all got loads of money. So jermaine got a pick of girls to choose from.

 

that happens everywhere..

some powerhouse football colleges in the states, would actually throw girls at star high school athletes, to get them to sign onto their team for 4-years...

they would have parties with hookers, booze, and all kinds of stuff. some would even throw a bit of money to the kids, to get them to sign (because you really want that 6 foot, 225lb runningback, who benches 525, squats 700, and runs the 40 in 4.35 )

NFL player parties are also notorious for having lots of women and seedy stuff going on...

don't even get me started on Magic Johnson, and his outrageous parties..he's slept with so many women
