I fought a lot when I was a kid. Only in self-defense though or to stand up for others (who were weaker or outnumbered), and pretty much only with boys (who thought they could bully a girl around and get away with it). I have an older brother and older male cousins, and I learned very young that if I could fight boys older than me, someone my age/size was a piece of cake, and so I'd made a few boys cry in front of their jerkoff friends when they asked for it. Plus, I just don't take shit past a certain point, but it's up to the other person to cross the line. I've gotten in trouble as a kid a bunch of times too, but I felt I had no choice. Plus it was a different time and place. But, when my son gets in trouble in school for stuff like that, I ALWAYS ultimately have his back when he does it in self-defense or for someone else who was getting bullied. And knowing a thing or two about law, and how to approach certain situations the right (calm but to the point) way helps when dealing with school admins and other parents. And my kid has been in fights and crazy situations before, including being attacked with a knife or by a pit-bull (both in elementary school). Putting him in martial arts for several years helped too.

I loved this story when it came out..loved that daddy wanted to protect his daughter from ignoramuses.
Me three. Several times. To my face and online.
ln fact, l was once targeted by a global network/group of racists who bombarded my inbox with all sorts of racist diatribe and personal threats...l was handling it, but once they threatened to show up on my doorstep to "rape and harm (my) young kids" is when I contacted the police. (I knew it was an offense cops could charge for). Who inturn, turned the emails over to the local FBI. Was an overall terrible experience. (And anither reason to kiss my firearm....just try me)
