"I was angry at first, then I said let me try something different': Dad confronts bully by treating him like a son" https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/ang...fronts-bully-treating-like-son-190546707.html Always good to see positive stories of positive Black men/Dads....
This is a beautiful story. I love seeing black men reaching out to help black boys who don't have positive, everyday role models to show them what being a man truly is. I have to be honest, though. Had it been my son, I would have told him to fight the bully. And, maybe I still would (that's what got kids to stop bullying me as a kid). But, I would do it in a different way. Maybe, take them to a boxing ring and let them settle their differences with some guidance. Then, try and reach out and see why the boy is acting out like that and help any way I could.
