Cute French Girl The Nicest Racist I've Ever Met?

in one of my classes at school I've made friends with this really really cute French girl Alma. She is very tall, skinny, with light blue eyes, and dark black hair. her accent drives me insane. shes 22 and moved here at 18. anyways, we been getting to know each other over the past few weeks since meeting in late January when the semester started and unfortunately shes got a boyfriend. Although whenever i show up she gets all perky and smiley and starts playing with her hair. the funniest sh*t was when she says stuff like "holla" and "thas wassup" around me, like shes trying to sound black or something. But today she said something really interesting...


we were eating lunch in the cafeteria (just me and her at the table) and i ask her if her boyfriend is french too and she goes "of course". and i was kind of shocked at that and asked her, "well why do you say that? you wouldnt date any other kind of guy?" and she goes "well my parents are very very strict and so on". Sounded like her parents are pretty racist to me. I asked if she was in love with him and she kind of looked away and says "he's okay, nice guy". she said her parents like him so thats all that matters.

She didnt seem to bothered by it. I didnt delve into it too much cause i didnt wanna start any kind of argument or anything and i really like her, shes so sweet and nice. My car was broken into recently and they stole my book bag which had all my notes for class and we had a midterm coming up and she studied with me and made photo copies of her notes for me to take home and we always hang out and she says im real funny and kind and "not like most black guys". That kind of weirded me out but who cares. Shes probably the nicest racist I've ever met. I just wonder if she was single would she go for a black guy (like me), knowing it would KILL her father? Maybe i'll ask her....

im sure you would love to believe that i never encounter ANY white girls in my life. Its hard for a loser like you to believe that anyone else actually gets women to talk to them since it doesnt happen to you. sorry i hate to break it to you but we all dont sit in our room all day, some of us have a life and meet people. some girls like us, some dont. like you. you bring nothing to this site. all u do is hate on people and criticize others. you never meet women or have girlfriend problems or post pics of your girlfriends. you just judge people like me who live their lives, love, lose, have heart ache. no not every woman i encounter feels the same about me but at least i am out there living my life and meeting people. its not my fault you dont have the courage to do the same. all u do is come on here and judge me and suspect everything i say is a lie. im freaking tired of it. but all i can do now is tell the truth. if u believe it then fine, if not, ignore my posts. simple.

Haven't posted here in a loooooong time... but I'm moved to post the following:

There is absolutely nothing wrong or "racist" about sticking to your own culture -- hell, even sticking to your own "race" -- when it comes to love, marriage, and particularly making babies.

Indeed, sticking to your own is actually smarter in a lot of real ways than dating out... I won't go into the reasoning, 'cause all in all it's a real no-brainer.

Of course, those who mix should be able to do so without harassment and such -- that's also a no-brainer -- but I think you're getting it twisted, and crossing an important line when you call someone who doesn't mix "racist".

...And this coming from a guy who has mixed all his life!

There's nothing particularly virtuous about "mixing", and nothing inherently evil about sticking to "your own".

What's true is that everyone should have the option -- the freedom -- to mix or not mix; to pursue happiness in their own special way.
