    Glad you weren't seriously hurt. Hope she learned something.
    Yeah Bryant, the operative word is supposed. I don't think it would be any consolation to be laying up in the hospital with two broken legs thinking, "well, he was supposed to stop".

    Are we on campus or out in the real world? lol On campus (here, anyway) cars are expected to stop if there is someone approaching the crosswalk. Not on campus, I think it's better if traffic continues along and is allowed to clear before pedestrians walk across the street.

    If I'm in a rush, I won't use the crosswalk and I'll cross the street once it clears momentarily.

    If I have some time to spare, I use the crosswalk.

    lol, yes! My grandpa always crossed the street without waiting the cars to pass by, he just DIVE in the street, sure that ppl whould have stopped. He is 86 now. LOL
