what is your take on it?
Do you think the Muslim brotherhood that has some power in that country will try to shift Egypt-USA relationship to Egypt-Iran and dump the USA?
Mubark is a solid US ally, do you think the next power will try to turn its back on US?

No way. This is their Berlin War. The old Islamic regime (which Mubarak's Govt is still all about, even though its US allied) and their Sharia law, is cooked. Iran is nothing more than the Egypt they are trying to overthrow. Caught Real Time w/ Bill Maher tonight and he had on an Egyptian journalist.... she was simply brilliant with her analysis and to sum it up, her words were 'we the people are telling the old farts and Mubarak FUCK YOU and FUCK YOU!"
She noted that it took Tunisa 29 days to overthrow a 25 yr regime and it has inspired her people.

She also revealed that the avg Egyptian lives on $2 a day and Mubarak's personal wealth (which he pilfered from money meant for their country) is @ $50-$70 Billion.

I haven't seen any evidence to support the idea that, should they assume power, the Muslim Brotherhood will pursue a hardline fundamentalist revision of the Egyptian state. It remains to be seen, however, how relations with Isreal would fair.

The Suez Canal is indispensable to oil-producing nations in the region (e.g. Saudi Arabia), and I see them helping to prevent any further instability from bubbling up in the region. As confirmed by recently leaked diplomatic cables, Iran's friends are few and far in between and I don't foresee any alliances with Egypt. It should also be noted that Iran is not an Arab (or primarily Sunni) nation with cultural ties in the region not being as strong as one might be led to believe.

I'll be surprised if Mubarak isn't out of a job by the end of the month.
