She doesn't have to agree with you, and in a case like this, I'd actually respect her opinion. To be fair, I believe it's true that Trayvon was the aggressor, but it wouldn't have gotten to this point if he wasn't being followed.

There's nothing more aggressive or intimidating that a stranger following you at night and you don't know why.

That's what was maddening about the Trayvon Martin trial, the fact that GZ following him was not considered a hostile action, or that Trayvon was not given the benefit of self-defense to believe his life was in jeopardy from this unknown assailant trailing him for several blocks.


If I follow you in my car at night, we both pull over to the curb and I get out of my vehicle without announcing myself and approach you, I think a reasonable person has a right to feel apprehensive.
Add the fact the I KNOW I've got a 9mm strapped under my arm, then whatever goes down IMO is MY FAULT.
