If you're 24 years old and a member of Qatar's ruling family, what car would you drive around town? A 'glow-in-the-dark' Lamborghini Avantador, worth around $500,000, of course.

But if you forget your driver's license and the proper insurance documents while navigating the streets of London, don't for one minute think the local police might offer you a royal pardon. Instead, they'll give you a ticket. And tow your one-of-a-kind supercar like it's a rusted '94 Honda Accord.

This particularly insane Lamborghini is thought to be owned by Nasser Al-Thani, a mere 24 year old boy with Qatari parents so wealthy they presumably own such things as floating skyscrapers, fur coats made from wooly mammoths, and an entire mansion filled with nothing but jelly beans.

The incident reportedly began by police noticing the attention-grabbing supercar had no front license plate. After stopping the car and quizzing the driver, the space-aged Lamborghini was taken aboard a flat-bed truck to the impound lot. I doubt Nasser Al-Thani struggled for a ride home, however. This car is one of many oddly painted, ludicrously expensive sports car the young man owns. The only question remaining is--does the boy who has everything own a flying horse? Because only then does one truly have it all.

there is a reason we call them pigs... maybe things are different in that country but in cali, they write you a ticket for not having the actual license card(assuming the system shows your license is valid) and if you have valid insurance their system shows the same and a ticket would be issued for not having the actual proof.

    smdh.

Not having a registration plate is an offense, without being able to identify the vehicle they cannot ascertain if it has a valid insurance document, vehicle license tax disc (which he is not displaying!another offense) or a current MOT certificate.
I hope they crush it too teach the lil bastard a lesson, which they will if he can't prove he's insured for it within 7-14 days in some cases they also sell them and keep the money.

I abide by the rules so should he.

They have that rule here, except you have to have the card and the green paper document together as seperate they don't count as a full license.

I must say though that here they will let you off, when I've been pulled over twice recently (speed traps) they just ask my name and I haven't had to produce documentation as the reg number tells them im up to date.

    Add on,

His family own Harrods and have been in trouble before for using the streets of Knightsbridge as a racetrak and smashing into a BMW M5 with a Lambo Murcielago.
Don't matter who you are or what ur family is London cops will nick ya lol

He's also in central london as I can see a congestion charging zone sign, which means he's not paid his congestion fee of £10 per day, he'll get a fine for that too.

Reminds me of the story about the Batmobile from the Batman tv show. It was probably the most famous car on television. It was on display and its builder drove it. A cop pulled it over and gave the guy a ticket and towed the Batmobile away. In court, the Judge presiding over the case chastised the officer for the citation and was busted down to dog catcher. A happy ending

Either way, the officer that initiated the stop went as far to tow because he wanted to be a true definition of a pig, like the one who shoved her fingers in those two ladies.

DWB? Man arrested while test-driving a BMW

Jon-Christopher Sowells was looking to purchase a new BMW and became a victim of racial profiling. According to reports, Sowells decided to test-drive a BMW in Snellville, Ga. But moments after Sowells drove out of the Philips Motors parking lot, a police officer began following him.

Once Sowells stopped, the police officer questioned him about why the vehicle didn’t have tags. Sowells told the police officer that he was test-driving the BMW and presented him with a document to back up his claim. However, the officer didn’t know what it was and refused to look at it.

The officer then became belligerent and told Sowells to get out of the car. The car dealer was eventually contacted and verified that Sowells had permission to test-drive the car. However, the police officer continued his pettiness and decided to arrest Sowells anyway. Sowells, who had never been arrested before, was charged with obstruction.

Ha! Obstruction... They are easily dismissed in court, unless your cited and released an over night stay is a nuisance.

This sum bullishit, but not uncommon. That cop was offended by the mere fact a BM was actually able to afford a new BMW.

As much as things have changed down South, in many ways they're
stuck 250 years in the past.

    Anyway, that Lambo was AWESOME.
I expected Bruce Wayne to get out the driver's side.:smt033
