Genius. You picked photos of some well-known celebs and their adopted non-biracial black children to....prove what?

If you don't want to look into the subject then just rent the film "Antwone Fisher" instead. There is a line in which someone talks about black children that are adopted. It went something like the order for who gets adopted first when it comes to black children are 1)lightskinned black girls 2)lightskinned black boys 3)darskinned black girls 4)darskinned black boys. Of course I believe in the film they were referring to black American children, not black children from other nations/continents. I have a family member who adopted recently and she mentioned something about how whites will go for the lightskinned (often biracial) black kids first. She's not white, this relative of mine, but becoming part of the whole process of trying to adopt led to her learning a lot of what goes on, including which kids are favored.

The point is you're generalizing since I doubt such a statistic exists that shows what complexion of Black kids are adopted by Whites.

Just because you 'heard' it in a movie or how your family member experienced a situation where light skinned Black kids seemed to be preferred in adoption by Whites is hearsay at best.

Of the handful of Black people I know who were adopted, all were brown to dark skinned.

'Antoine Fisher' is far from a sociological study on the rate of adoption among light and dark skinned babies by Whites.

BTW, many of those Black kids adopted by American celebs are American born.
