The producers of the critically acclaimed MTV reality series, Jersey Shore, is introducing a new show of the same style. However, instead of the poor Italian-American stereotype depicted through the Shore cast, Party Down South will encompass a bunch of southerners - typically those of the redneck persuasion. This is one of the many shows based off of the success of the Jersey Shore phenomenon. Around August 2010, a RV traveled across the southern region of the United States, including Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, and West Virginia. The show is expected to air sometime this year. With this in mind, here are two people who auditioned for the role. Joy Morris Stephanie Hartzog And here are some other people in a complete video collage. Party Down South: Rest of the Auditions
That's not the only show based off the success of Jersey Shore. There are others ranging from Russian-Americans, Irish-Americans, Persian-Americans, Korean-Americans, and so forth.
What is MTV trying to do? Trash Nation USA? Find a group of people who can overindulge in substances and they make fools of themselves. I will not be surprised if a Brit Network show a group of Chavs who go to Blackpool and wreak everything in sight.
Hmmm.. watching rednex partying??? I seriously think I rather have my nails pulled out, seems less painful.
Oh goody, more trashy tv!!! I watch rednecks all the time, & I don't consider it entertainment...that shit is torture.
You'll either hear two phrases: 1. WHITE WOMAN IN TROUBLE!!!! 2. "Mmmm yes! That big nigger cock!" Something along those lines or what have you. I think there's an openly racist moron who is part of the school board in a minority majority school district in California. I live in Louisiana, honey...in the country area. And all you need to do is simply smile with glee and shit on the confederate flag.
