"Comedian Patrice O'Neal has died at 41 after suffering a serious stroke in October, according to widely published reports. O'Neal died Monday, according to the hosts of the "Opie and Anthony" radio show, on which the comic was a regular" http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=686326 Even though I didn't really follow his work my condolences go out to his family and friends. RIP.
I did know his work and dude was prolific. He was a pioneer on relationships and race relations. I am deeply saddened by this.
Big shock. If Patrice had regular physicals and checkups with his primary care doctor, I think his death could have been avoided. Same with Heavy D IMO. One of the few new comics on the scene over the last 10 years that I really enjoyed seeing perform. RIP.:smt051:smt051
We lost a legend. I was a fan ever since his first Comedy Central Presents special. Patrice was charming so he got away with a lot of crude shit lol. R.I.P
This guy will be so missed. No other comic made me feel as connected to his words as this one. I am close to tears on this one. Damn
